The quiet sandy beach of Kalamaki on 5 car minutes away, with its cosy boulevard with small restaurants, directly in front of the ultimate holiday feeling. It is also a nice walk through in an hour. Venture a bit further is Komos beach. A quiet and beautiful beach.

Are you a lover of antique culture? Then Gortis, Komos, Agia Triada and in Kamilari itself the Tolos Tombs is a must.

South Crete has beautiful landscapes that invite you to go hiking in the early spring.
You see valleys, gorges, steep slopes or tranquil valleys with olive groves.
Along the way you come across surprising villages, a monastery, a ruin or a beach.
Nature is extraordinary beautiful. With many flowers in the spring and a beautiful budding nature.
We have walked various routes in the immediate vicinity of our house and also a little further away there are many possibilities. In our house there are various route descriptions available for guests as well as map material.
We recommend having good walking shoes. On Crete many paths are provided with gravel and then a good shoe is indispensable.
Villages
Visit the picturesque, typical Cretan villages in the area. Pitsidia, Sivas, Voros, Mires, Timpaki, and many more: honest, and barely discovered. You will find more tourists in Agia Galini and Spili, but those are nice villages too.
